Gerland Announces 2024 Collection: La Mia Terra

The 2024 collection will be debut on September 14, 2024, during New York Fashion Week. La Mia Terra brings something unique to the runway and showcases classic styles with a modern twist. The collection is connected to the designer’s homeland of Sicily. It brings to life the colors of the architecture, agriculture, and the Mediterranean Sea. The September show will be a true showcase of Sicilian culture.

Gerland is a UK based, Italian inspired company designing, manufacturing, and retailing accessible ready to wear fashion. We are committed to making good design a daily choice for everyone. Gerland was established by Geri Sciame and registered as a Ltd company in 2020 to enable the companies’ vision to be fully realized.

Geri Sciame, Founder and Creative Director

Geri is proud of his Sicilian heritage and will continue to ensure this is recognized throughout the Gerland brand. Since Geri was a child, he always enjoyed dressing up by mixing and matching styles from casual to formal. His father was a tailor, and his mother was a seamstress, and he watched them and learned how to measure and create pieces. This started his journey into fashion.

When He moved to London from Sicily, He started his career in fashion working for several brands and then became a personal shopper and stylist at Selfridges. There he styled in brands like Fendi, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Christian Louboutin, and Dolce & Gabbana. Having styled clients including major celebrities like David Beckham and ASAP Rocky, He honed his skills and is now bringing them to you with Gerland.
